I'm the developer behind CG Web Solutions.
I build, maintain and improve web-based business software, with a particular focus on the systems, processes and integrations that businesses rely on every day.
CG Web Solutions gives me the opportunity to work directly with small businesses, understand how they operate and build practical improvements around the way they actually work.
Why CG Web Solutions exists
I have seen how easily small inefficiencies become normal.
A spreadsheet becomes part of an important workflow. Information gets copied between systems because they were never connected. A useful application gradually becomes slower or more awkward as the business changes.
People usually find a way to keep things working — but over time those workarounds cost time and create frustration.
CG Web Solutions is built around finding those problems and improving them sensibly.
Sometimes that means building something new. Often it means automating a few steps, connecting existing software or improving the system that is already there.
My background
My professional work is in web-based business software.
That includes developing and maintaining PHP applications, working with databases, building internal tools, integrating third-party services, automating processes and investigating performance problems in established systems.
I am particularly comfortable working with existing applications where understanding how the software and the business fit together is just as important as writing new code.

There is no account manager between you and the person doing the development.
If we work together, I will be involved from the initial conversation through to planning, development and delivery.
That direct relationship helps me build up context about your business rather than treating each request as an isolated technical task.
How I like to work
I prefer to understand the reason behind a change rather than simply implement a list of requested features.
That does not mean turning every project into a lengthy consultancy exercise. It means asking enough questions to make sure we are solving the right problem.
My aim is to keep solutions practical, communicate clearly and avoid adding complexity that the business does not need.
An honest approach to a new business
CG Web Solutions is a new independent business, built on my professional software-development experience.
I will not pretend to have a large agency team, manufacture case studies or claim a history the business does not yet have.
What I can offer is direct access to an experienced working developer, careful attention to the problem you are trying to solve and a genuine interest in building something useful.
